Built by the Knights in the 16th century and used by the British as an artillery battery until the 20th century, Saluting Battery has been restored to take a tour around the location.
The highlight of the sightseeing that your toddler will enjoy (just warn them ahead) is the firing of one of the guns. It happens twice a day, at noon and 4 pm.
Access Saluting Battery by going down a few steps in the middle of the Upper Barrakka Gardens.
