Senglea, Birgu and Bormla are the Three Cities opposite Valletta, across Grand Harbour, that are fortified cities, pieces of living history. Walk around all three villages, but most importantly, Birgu, which has the most to offer.
The villages have a quaint character with great harbour views, specifically from Gardjola watchtower at the tip of Senglea. The Three Cities are a great opportunity for taking pictures if you or your toddler likes photography.
You can get there from Valletta by bus, car, taxi or a ferry.
