Story Bridge is the largest steel bridge in Australia. You can either pass the bridge or if you’re up for an adventure, go on the Story Bridge Adventure Climb which is one of only three bridge climbs in the world.
Climbing over the steel structure gives you an amazing bird’s eye view over Brisbane City, Kangaroo Point, and far beyond to the mountain ranges and the Brisbane River.
Next to the bridge, there is Howard Smith Wharves, a historic shipyard-turned-precinct featuring cafes, restaurants, and a craft beer hall.
