Bicentennial Park features a giant fenced playground that has two long toboggan slides of a soft mat hill, stepping stones, a wave rider boat, monkey bars, a flying fox, a wooden climbing fort, climbing ropes and slides.
There are also springers, spinners, and hammocks. The playground also includes some sheltered play spaces with swings and sandpits.
Mt Chelsea train station is another area that kids love where they find trains, a ticket office, swinging benches, and a tunnel in the engine. There is also Smurf Village with different cubbies for music stories and play, and a quirky cow.
The park is so big that it is worth visiting even if you’re not in the area. The park includes picnic shelters, BBQ, public toilets, free parking, and water taps.
