Thanks to a lot of trees, Le Van Tam Park features a lot of shaded areas and some parts of the playgrounds. One of the playgrounds features a large sand area with small baby and toddler slides, spring animals, slides, climbing structures and seesaws. The highlight of the park is the outdoor water playground with a multi-play unit set in a shallow pool, perfect to cool down on a hot day.
There is also a fitness area with a number of outdoor sports equipment.
For a picnic, you can enjoy some Saigon street food sold around the park. The park also hosts a number of different annual festivals including a book festival, flower market, and food festival.
It is recommended to reapply mosquito repellent and have your little one wear a wide-brimmed hat while out and about in Ho Chi Minh. Good quality sunscreen should be reapplied often, as well.
