The Bastion of the Vilnius Defense Wall tells the history of Lithuania’s Grand Duchy’s weaponry and defence practices dating all the way back to 16th century.
Inside the museum, visitors can learn about artillery, the city’s past, wars with Russia, and much more.
The city bastion, called Barbican by the locals, shaped like a horseshoe is situated on the hillside which in the warmer season attracts families, artists, and high-spirited folks.
It’s a perfect place to enjoy the panoramic views, have a picnic, and chill on the grass while your toddler plays nearby.
