Wat Khao Takiap

This mountain is known for its many monkeys and the giant shining statue of Buddha visible from Hua Hin Beach. At the top of the mountain is Wat Khao Lad temple.

It is known as the monkey temple for the hundreds of cheeky monkeys that live there so you need to be extra careful with the things you carry.

Don’t feed the monkeys so you don’t have a bunch of them following you after.

The view of Hua Hin from the top is worth the climb. Plus there is a number of eclectic statues and monuments.
