Hua Hin Railway station is one of the oldest and most beautiful train stations in Thailand. Built during the reign of King Rama VI, the station houses a striking Royal Waiting Room featuring a unique Thai architectural style. Outside of the station, there is a hidden library.
Two of the old train carriages have been overhauled and turned into beautiful, quaint libraries. Adjacent to the building there is a well-maintained garden and a peaceful tree alley leading up to the sea.Ā
The Railway station is close to the city centre and is only 800 metres walk from Hua Hin beach. Toilets and a small shop for snacks and drinks are available at the station.
