Sunset Park is an oasis in the desert offering tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, softball fields, a disc golf course, a dog park, a playground, shaded picnic areas, and plenty of open space. There are also walking trails through natural mesquite and the last remaining natural dunes in the Las Vegas Valley. The park also hosts many special events.
There is also a water playground with giant flowers splashing water around creating a fun space for the toddlers on a hot day.
The regular “dry” playground features unique all-wooden play structures that toddlers can climb on and slide off, or try to walk along the course. There is also the soft-flooring area with climbing ropes, swings, and more.
