Located next to Canal Walk Shopping Centre, Intaka Island offers an educational outing with bird-watching. There are two bird hides with over 120 bird species to discover and an elusive water mongoose.
There are two footpaths on the island, one natural and one man-made to take a stroll and nice green lawns for a picnic. Boat rides are available as an activity.
Tickets for a day pass: R25 for adults, R15 for children (4-12yrs), FREE for children 3 and under.
