Barrakka Lift

Take one of the Barrakka lifts from or to the Upper Barrakka Garden. There are two 58-metre-high lifts that carry twenty-one people at a time.

The journey takes around twenty-five seconds, making it the quickest way into the city from the Valletta Waterfront.

The lift offers a practical alternative from the Valletta Passenger Terminal passengers to the city with its shops, restaurants, churches and museums.
