While exploring authentic Chinatown and what it has to offer, don’t forget to check out Chan She Shu Yuen Clan Ancestral Hall, one of the beautiful religious and cultural monuments.
The Cantonese-style temple features 100-year-old Shek Wan decorative pottery on the facade and eaves, while side gables swirl like giant waves. The three ancestors of the Chan clan are enshrined inside the altar.
If you’re wandering the area in the evening, you will get a chance to see the building beautifully illuminated.
The temple is FREE to visit.
