Located nearby Monkey Forest, Goa Gajah also known as Elephant Cave is an archaeological site with impressive carvings.
You and your toddler will enjoy exploring the carvings, walking around the bathing pools, the central pond with giant Lilly pads, and plenty of tree vines hanging from above.
Inside, there are stalls selling fresh cold coconuts. It is recommended to bring baby carriers because of the number of steps around the site.
Be aware of the stray dogs, tell your toddler not to touch them, and they’ll leave you peacefully. Bring bottled water and don’t forget to put on insect repellant regularly.
