Newly built MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology showcases multiple temporary exhibitions of Portuguese artists.
The museum is worth the visit just for the spectacular building itself that combines the century-old Power Station and the new white addition that has a slope with stairs to climb from the bottom all the way to the rooftop of the museum.
Toddlers will love the Central building which has an exhibition accessible to smaller children. Children are entertained by replicas of boiler rooms and a fun room with kid-sized interactive exhibits featuring electricity.
MAAT includes a Cafe and a gift shop.
Tickets: Central + maat: € 9.00 for adults, € 6.00 for children over 12. Family ticket (1 adult + 2 children) € 17.00. FREE for children under 12 and the first Sunday of every month.
