Medeltidsmuseet (The Medieval Museum)

The Medieval Museum shows the city’s origins and medieval development. It is a child-friendly museum with well-preserved ancient brick walls, reconstructions of medieval homes, markets, and workshops.

There are hands-on elements, a display about Gallows Hill, and even a mysterious gated tunnel leading to the castle. Inside you will also see paintings, sculptures, sceneries, and replicas of buildings that you can actually go through.
