When looking for a calmer, peaceful place with a stunning view of the city, visit Miradouro da Senhora do Monte. On top of Lisbon’s tallest hill, the viewpoint features the church of Graca, the castle, the river Tagus, the rooftops of Baixa, the ruins of Carmo and more.
The viewpoint also holds the Lady of the Mount and her chapel, built in 1147. The famous tram 28 has a stop (Rua da Graca) on its route nearby.
