Discover a tropical rainforest without leaving the metropolis at Perdana Botanical Garden. A recreational park has been rehabilitated, turned into a botanical garden, and now offers a colourful experience of tropical flora and water installations throughout.
The park features a children’s playground, rowing boats, and a variety of outdoor sculptures, including an imitation of England’s Stonehenge. There is also The Amphitheatre showcasing live performances and hosting special events.
There is a cafe, a parking area and gazebos for picnics. Don’t forget to reapply mosquito repellent and let’s hope your little one keeps that wide-brimmed hat on. Good quality sunscreen should be reapplied often either way.
The entrance is FREE. FREE guided walks on Sundays: 8 am – 10 am.
