What used to be a shrimp farm, now Pran Buri Forest Park is a mangrove forest with a river that reaches the Gulf of Thailand.
Take a boat ride down the river or explore wonderful mangrove-tree roots, over 100 species of birds, and giant monitor lizards on foot by taking a 1km boardwalk. The walk through the mangrove forest is well maintained and has lots of interpretive signs.
The park has free toilets.
There is no public transport to get there but you can take a taxi or rent a car.Ā
It is recommended to book your tour or boat tour in advance to secure it.
