Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is a perfect sanctuary for nature lovers, where families can watch thousands of birds up close.
Amongst the show-stoppers flamingos, kids can look for multiple other species like sandpipers or ospreys, grey herons, cormorants, and others.
The wetland features a variety of salt flats, intertidal mudflats, mangroves, and lagoons with birds’ habitats.
One of the best times to see specifically flamingos is the feeding time roughly at 10 am and 4 pm each day. For a closer view binoculars are provided.
Entry to the sanctuary and the viewing area is FREE.
