Walk around the ruins of the Roman Forum which used to be the political, legal, and religious centre of the Roman Empire.
While you wander through the cobblestone and sand floor, let your imagination spark while looking at the remaining structures from centuries ago in the rectangular plaza.
Some combination tickets for Colosseum and the Roman Forum allow visiting the two places on separate days, which is perfect when travelling with a toddler who may get tired.
To access the Roman Forum, you need to go via the oldest and most famous road in Rome, Via Sacra.
Roman Forum is only partly stroller accessible.
Tickets: adults – from €21.50, children (0-17) – €2.
