Royal Botanic Garden

Royal Botanic Garden is Australia’s oldest botanic garden offering an oasis within a city where visitors learn the history of the plants and the garden.

There are many activities and unique exhibitions to explore including special activities for children. The gardens have several cafes and restaurants to relax and catch up.

Bring your two to five your-olds to the Gardens on a Thursday during school term to “enrol” them to Seedlings Nature School where garden educators facilitate play-based activities and nature experiences from planting and harvesting to art & craft, songs, dance, and plenty of playtime.
