Santa Barbara Castle

The castle of Santa Barbara stands on Mount Benacantil overlooking the beautiful city of Alicante. The castle, shrouded in legends and stories, with a guide’s help, transports families back in time through centuries of wars, battles, and tragic love stories.

You will learn interesting facts like how limestone was rubbed on the walls to keep them waterproof or other unusual tales about princesses and princes that we won’t spoil. The tour that you will take is led by theatrical guides dressed in costumes which is exciting for the little ones. 

To access the castle you can take a lift that costs a few euros.
