Schmetterlinghaus (Butterfly House)

Butterfly House is exactly what the title entails. Take your toddler to a tropical greenhouse in the northwestern wing of the Palm House, where they can explore a number of mesmerizing butterflies surrounded by waterfalls, small ponds and bridges.

The highlight is the giant Atlas butterfly with a wingspan of 30cm.

Caregivers can download material from the website suitable for kindergarten and pre-school children including information on the butterflies, themed drawings and painting booklets.

Tickets: €7 for adults, €6 for visitors with Vienna card, €5.5 for school children, €4 for children older than 3 years (up to school).
