Besides the usual football and badminton courts, walking paths, and nicely maintained gardens, Taman Pudu Ulu, a large park in Cheras, has an amazing expanse of water. The giant pool has two different levels but is mostly shallow, which makes it a great refreshing attraction for toddlers.
There is also a playground with conventional play equipment including a colourful multi-play unit with slides, monkey bars, play panels, and more.
Come early in the morning for some peaceful time. At the park, you will also find water fountains, stepping stones, and a little nursery with plants growing.
The park and the pool are FREE. Don’t forget to reapply mosquito repellent and let’s hope your little one keeps that wide-brimmed hat on. Good quality sunscreen should be reapplied often either way.
