Tây Ninh Holy See, also called Cao Đài Temple is constructed on the holy land and stands as a home of the Caodaism religion. There are 12 gates to Tay Ninh Holy See campus that features manicured landscapes, a statue of Thich Ca Buddha riding a horse, and about 100 more architectural works connected by wide roads.
The temple is an important religious site with unique architecture and sacred religious spirit. Outside and inside you will find many amazing intricate details and decorations, colours and fascinating religious sculptures.
Check the etiquette before visiting the temple but the main several rules are:
Once entering men must follow the right door; women – the left;
Take off your shoes before entering;
Greet the monks by nodding;
Dress up respectfully;
Do not walk in the middle of the main building – the area of worshipping;
Entry is not allowed at 6 am and 12 pm (ceremony time).
A tour of Cu Chi Tunnels and Cao Dai Temple is available. It takes a full day and costs from around $50. Both of the locations are about a 2-hour drive from the city.
