The Apartheid Museum illustrates the rise and fall of South African apartheid. The exhibits include provocative film footage, photographs, text panels, and artefacts illustrating the events and human stories that are part of the horrific period, known as apartheid.
The Apartheid Museum offers a great opportunity to introduce your children to the history and what it used to be like to live in apartheid. Most parents are struck by how recent the history is: Nelson Mandela was released from prison only in 1990.
Come to the Truth Café at Apartheid Museum for a welcoming pit stop and a slice of cake.
Ticket prices: adults – R150, children – R100.
