Visit The Llama Farm which boasts Queensland’s biggest herd of llamas for an experience unlike any other. There is a herd of 75 llamas and every single one of them has a name. You can choose one to walk with on a lead along a trail that borders the upper reaches of the Brisbane River at Pine Mountain.
Together with your toddler, you will also have an opportunity to see donkeys, miniature ponies, a large flock of peacocks, Chinese geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, and two fluffy Maremma dogs, Lucy and Lola, that guard the poultry.
Pack your lunch for a picnic or there are morning and afternoon teas available for larger groups.
As it is a working farm and family home, there is no general admission or daily opening times. Instead, visitors can book tour experiences at set times each weekend. Check the website for tour options.
