Shine Shed is Australia’s largest all-abilities sensory play centre catering to children, teens, and young adults with autism and other disabilities. The play centre includes activities for kids with a range of movement levels from hyperactive to those with physical needs. Kids are encouraged to develop skills of tolerance and participate in a nurturing and supporting environment.
The play centre features specially-designed equipment including a huge play gym, foam pit, trampolines, flying fox, swings, cubby house, climbing walls, pretend play corner, trapeze, spin pods, and a climbing gym. There is also a sensory room with lowered lights, an activity wall and bubble columns for those that require a calmer, low sensory experience.
There are changing facilities including a hoist and electric change table, disability access, dedicated parking, and a kiosk.
Tickets:
1h session – $16.50, 2h session – $27, (When accompanying a paying participant) Under 2yrs – $5, Babies under 1 – FREE.
