Bring your kids to Wat Saket, a temple depicting local culture and traditions of Bangkok. The top of the Golden Mountain houses the temple and the shrine of Lord Buddha. The top of the mountain, the highest point in the city for centuries, is also the perfect panoramic location with 360-degree views of the city where you can spot sights like the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Arun, Wat Suthat.
There will be 318 steps to climb to reach the temple you should be aware of if you’re travelling with a pram. The dress code is the usual just like for all Buddhist temples: knees and shoulders covered. No shoes when entering the main sacred area.
The temple is within walking distance of other historic sights like Giant Swing, Loha Prasart (Metal Castle), and Wat Suthat.
